Mr Richard Matt President & CEO

Welcome to the Missouri Alliance for Children and Families (MACF)  website.  The MACF and our partners work with children and families referred primarily from the Children's Division, striving to achieve permanency for the children referred.  We have programs in many areas of the State of Missouri and look forward to working with families and other professionals towards the best interest of these children--BECAUSE EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHANCE!!

The Missouri Alliance provides care management and services to support community-based alternatives for seriously emotionally disturbed children who are at risk of being placed in or are already in structured residential settings. Through this program, children are given the opportunity to live with families or independently in a permanent setting.

After the family and child are stable in their home or the child is stable in a semi-independent situation, the Alliance transitions the coordination of the care back to the referring agency

Missouri Alliance for Children and Families facilitates planning and service implementation through a family-driven, multi-disciplinary team approach for families with children who have serious emotional problems.

Family Finding

The Missouri Alliance and partner agencies have instituted a tool called Family Finding, to assist in assuring children can live with their families.  Our mission is to work with a sense of urgency to find related family members with every youth we serve, to enhance their lives through finding, engaging and supporting permanent life-long connections or family or kin.

One of the goals is to secure a sense of belonging and identity as defined by the youth/family, supported by committed relationships intended to last a lifetime.

For more information or assistance in the process, please contact Amy Hanson at
